Server Lore

The world of the Black Lotus is one of shadow, blood, and desire. Here lies the foundation of the server — the factions, the places, and the forces that shape the stories told within it.

The Lotus Orders

The Lotus is not a single flower, but many. Each color represents a different path, a different way of surviving the Exiled Lands.

  • Black Lotus – mercenaries, assassins, and spies who thrive in shadows.
  • White Lotus – monks and healers who follow the divine light.
  • Red Lotus – vampires and their cartel, slinging drugs and weaving webs of influence.
  • Grey Lotus – loud mercenaries and sellswords, strength-for-hire.
  • Purple Lotus – sorcerers who delve too deep into the arcane.

The Hub

The beating heart of the server is The Sunken Drunk, a gathering place for all Lotus alike. Tavern, market, and neutral ground — though neutrality is never guaranteed for long.

The People

While most races and species are welcome in story, some are considered "supported" within the server’s design. These receive dedicated lore and in-world justification.

Magic and Alchemy

Power flows in many forms — the blade, the bargain, and the brew. Here you’ll find the foundations of how the unnatural is woven into the world.

  • Magic – the forms of sorcery, its cost, and its corruption.
  • Potions – concoctions brewed for roleplay; effects are explained, but exact numbers are determined in-server.

This page is a living archive of lore and foundations. For up-to-date stats, numbers, and mechanical changes, always refer to the server itself.
